I’m an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the School of Social & Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon (ISCSP-UTL), Portugal. I’m also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Administration & Policies (CAPP).
My research focuses on the social impact of technology, mainly of the Internet.
My doctoral research was about Internet and social capital. I examined how Internet usage affects social capital in Lisbon, Portugal.
